Suter-BMW Moto1 test di Estoril

yak..sepertinya Suter-BMW adalah tim Moto1 (MotoGP 2012) yg paling siap membangun motor untuk musim depan..terhitung sudah 2 kali melakukan tes..pertama di Jerez akhir tahun lalu dan terakhir berbarengan dengan test Moto2 di Estoril kemarin..

tes kali ini Suter-BMW telah dilengkapi dengan ban Bridgestone (tes yg lalu menggunakan ban Michelin) rem karbon, perangkat elektronik baru dan mesin BMW S1000RR yg sudah di tune up menjadi lebih powerfull…test ridernya adalah Carmelo Morales merupakan test rider resmi Suter yg berkompetisi di kelas Moto2 Kejuaraan Nasional Spanyol dan Damian Cudlin yg berkompetisi di IDM Superbike menggunakan BMW S1000RR..

berikut pendapat Cudlin mengenai motor Suter-BMW Moto1 : “It took a little bit of time to adjust to the changes to the bike, mainly the Bridgestone tyres, the carbon brakes and the new electronics package, but I think we managed to work our way through the whole test program at Estoril. The bike has certainly been improved since the Jerez test at the end of last year, but there’s still a lot of work to do. Getting the electronics package working properly will be critical if the bike is to be competitive, and this is what we were focused on during the second day. We saw some improvements, and collected a lot of data, but we definitely need more track time if we’re going to get everything dialled in properly. Overall it was a very positive test, and we leave Estoril with a very clear idea of the direction we need to take with the development of the bike.”

intinya, masih butuh waktu untuk menyesuaikan motor dengan ban Bridgestone, ram karbon dan perangkat elektroniknya..tapi over all lebih baik dari tes pertama di Jerez akhir tahun lalu.. 😀
